This is one of the tasty pancake recipes made with eggs.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred and sifted before measuring
- 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ to 1 ¾ cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
You need to first sift the flour along with baking powder, sugar, and salt in a bowl. After you have done this, you need to whisk together the eggs and 1 ½ cups of milk in another bowl. The next step is to add the eggs and milk mixture to the flour. Care needs to be taken while adding the two mixtures together. Keep on stirring the batter till the mixture becomes soft and even. Next, add melted butter to the mixture until the butter blends in. At this point if the mixture seems too thick to pour, then add a small amount of milk.
To cook pancakes, you need about ¼ cup of the mixture. This mixture is to be poured onto a hot greased griddle or frying pan and has to be cooked until it is soft in the middle and a little dry around the edges. The pancakes also needs to be light brown on both sides. To brown both sides, first cook on one side then the other. The pancakes can be served along with butter and syrup to increase their flavor. This pancake recipe is for 4 servings. If you want a larger serving then the ingredients for the pancakes recipe needs to be proportionately increased.
